The idea to start the #notapig initiative, which aims to explain people how to behave in the mountains, forests and city parks, arose during the coronavirus pandemic, when in addition to growing crowds of tourists, piles of used handkerchiefs, plastic bottles, glass, drapes and other rubbish began to form outside.
The original plan was to create a purely educational initiative, the task of which is to give tourists tips on how to behave in such a way that it does not soon look like a "barn" in nature. However, many supporters from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, but also from Germany and Poland quickly joined us. Therefore, we started to go to the nature and clean up garbage regularly. Because education has the best effect on the youngest tourists, we have prepared an entertaining educational program for children in kindergartens.
